What’s Not So Great About the Waring MX1000 Professional 3.0 -Horsepower Blender?
Bulky: The Waring MX1000 is big and bulky, so if you want a stylish, attractive blender to fit on your countertop, this appliance is not for you. Many people have no choice but to keep the blender on the counter, as it’s too big to fit in the cabinets, while others store it away, as it takes up too much room on the countertop. Current owners have used words such as “masculine” and “cumbersome” to describe the appearance of this machine. But with a commercial-grade appliance such as this, you aren’t going to get a cute little tabletop design. The good news: Even though many owners weren’t pleased with the appearance at first glance, the power and efficiency far outweighs the design.

Because of this, you’ll have to hand wash the blender with warm soapy water. Fortunately, this task is made easy with the design of the blender, so you can make clean up fast and easy, despite the lack of the dishwashing option.
Expensive: This blender is expensive. There’s no way around it; for the quality construction, professional results and commercial-grade power, you’re going to pay several hundred dollars for this machine. The positive side to this is that the Waring MX1000 will be the last blender you ever buy. Instead of buying several blenders every year or two, you can buy one and get your money’s worth rather quickly. But even though this blender is cost-effective in the long run, the high price is still hard to afford at one time.
